Exam pattern for Age group : 10-11

    • 30 questions ( 30 marks) : Logical Reasoning(30 marks)
    • Time duration will be 1 hr
    • 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer
    • Students who score 60% and above will progress to Round-2.

    • 50 questions ( 50 marks): Logical Reasoning(50 marks)
    • Time duration will be 1 hr

Round-2

General instructions

  1. Each team consists of 2-3 students.
  2. Any student may participate in one team only.
  3. Each team must select only one theme out of the two mentioned.
  4. Maximum time to complete each project using both hardware and software will be 1.5 hrs.
  5. Students can bring their own hardware kits or they can purchase from us also.

Fire Detection and Localization using surveillance camera

CNN has become the state of the art in image classification and computer vision related tasks. Build a model that will improve the surveillance system by not only detecting the fire but also the location of the fire to provide an effective detection and reporting system for the safety of the people.

In our day-to-day lives, we encounter so many things that are filled with germs. So to eradicate this problem, build a system that can detect the percentage of germs present on an object and warn people to avoid using them.

Round-2

General instructions:

  1. Projects must be developed using scratch(you must create a scratch account on https://scratch.mit.edu)
  2. Projects will only be accepted if they are accessible on scratch website.
  3. Please be sure to share the project before submitting it.
  4. The unique URL link (this link must direct judges to the exact project) must be added to your entry alongside the corresponding registered project.
  5. Upon registration teachers/mentors must make sure that all information has been entered for their projects, including names of students as certificates of participation will be emailed after the competition.
  6. When an entry is submitted permission is granted to the organizers of the competitions to make unrestricted use of the entry in the future for publicity or educational purposes.
  7. Project entries can be from an individual or from a team of not more than 2 students per team.
  8. There is no limit on the number of project submissions from school. No student can be involved in more than one project in each category.
  9. Entries must be original work created by the teams or individuals submitting the entry.
  10. The competition organizers reserve the right to disqualify any entry based on inappropriate or copyrighted content or any entries which do not adhere to the competitions rules and guidelines.
  11. The decisions of the judging panel are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  12. Time duration will be 1 hr.
