Crawl-e

Price range: ₹94,399.00 through ₹106,699.00

This 6-legged marvel with 18 motors brings real robotics into your hands.

The EduNique Crawl-e is a hexapod robot with 18 degrees of freedom — powered by a 32-bit dual processor, equipped with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, and programmable through the Plode app. Students build it, code it, and watch it come alive.

Compatible with Technic Building Blocks. AI and IoT enabled. Built for curious minds aged 12 and above.

This 6-Legged Marvel Moves Like Nothing Else

Six legs. Eighteen motors. One extraordinary machine.

Crawl-e is not just a robot — it is a 6-legged, 18-motor hexapod that mimics the movement of living creatures. Each leg has 3 degrees of freedom, giving Crawl-e the agility to walk, turn, and navigate with a fluidity that students find immediately captivating.

Under the dome, a powerful 32-bit dual processor drives every movement. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity keep it wirelessly responsive. A 4-metre ultrasonic sensor lets it detect its environment. A 3W speaker adds feedback and personality. An aluminium chassis makes it sturdy enough for real-world use.

And through the Plode app — available on iOS, Android, and desktop — students don’t just control it. They programme it.

Learn While You Play, Using The Plode App

Plode is the coding platform that turns Crawl-e into a full learning experience. Students write real code, test it on real hardware, and see results in real time.

With Plode, students can:

  • Programme Crawl-e’s movement patterns and gait sequences
  • Integrate the ultrasonic sensor for obstacle detection
  • Use the speaker for audio feedback and interactions
  • Explore AI and IoT projects as skills advance
  • Build and expand using Technic Building Block compatibility

Available on iOS, Android, and desktop — Plode meets students wherever they learn.

Q1. What is Crawl-e?

Crawl-e is EduNique’s 6-legged hexapod robot with 18 degrees of freedom and 18 motors. It is powered by a 32-bit dual processor, supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, AI, IoT, and a 4m ultrasonic sensor — all programmable through the Plode app.

Q2. What does ’18 degrees of freedom’ mean?

Each of Crawl-e’s six legs has 3 independent joints, giving it 18 degrees of freedom in total. This allows the robot to walk, turn, and move with the natural agility of a living creature.

Q3. What is the Plode app?

Plode is EduNique’s dedicated coding platform for programming Crawl-e. It is available on iOS, Android, and desktop. Students use it to write code, control movement, integrate sensors, and explore AI and IoT projects.

Q4. What age group is Crawl-e for?

Crawl-e is designed for students aged 12 years and above. It is best suited for learners with some foundational interest in robotics, coding, or engineering.

Q5. How long does the battery last?

The rechargeable lithium ion battery lasts approximately 1 hour. Actual battery life may vary depending on activity type and usage intensity.

Q6. Can Crawl-e be used in schools?

Absolutely. Crawl-e is suitable for school STEM labs, robotics clubs, and classroom programmes. Write to info@edunique.in for bulk and institutional orders.
